Burju Shoes NYC Launch Party April 21

Burju Hurturk from the acclaimed Hacha y Machete dance company in Boston is not only a talented performer and instructor, but a shoe designer as well with her Burju Shoes brand.

We’ve seen Burju as a shoe vendor at several salsa congresses, aiming for performers and casual dancers.  Not content with just the dancing market, she’s also expanding her reach into the bridal clientele.

After holding a runway show with models showing off her wares in Boston in 2008, Burju is making a splash in New York.  Tomorrow, April 21 at the Nest Lounge on 215 West 28th St, Burju is hosting her Burju Shoes NYC launch party.  She’s featuring several salsa dancers who will model her dance shoes, and non-dancers who will model her other lines of shoes.
