Congratulations to Philadelphia’s Eli Torres and Yen Dorado, who recently won the individual 2009 Mayan Competition professional title on May 16 in Los Angeles. Veterans of both the Puerto Rico Open Championships and World Salsa Championships, Eli and Yen beat 2nd place couple Cristian Oviedo & Liz Lira and 3rd place couple Luis Aguilar & Shirley Amador.
