Boston Salsa Congress returns

The Boston Salsa Congress returns in 2008 to Cambridge, Massachusetts on April 4-6. In 2007, due to David Melendez’s passing, the event was canceled. April Genovese de la Rosa and Choco (John Knight) of MamboFateegz are the directors of the event.

Some of the performers include Boston’s renowed groups, Hacha y Machete, Masacote, and Salsa y Control. New York groups include Karisma, Descarga Latina, Yamulee, and Vittico La Magia dancers. Also performing are New Jersey’s Caribbean Soul, Puerto Rico’s Youngbloods, Jayson Molina y su Rompecabezas, and Al and Karla Espinoza from Los Angeles.

We plan to be there on Saturday, so please say hi! In Philadelphia, we also will cover the 2nd annual Philly Jam.
